There’s something magical about the new year and the last few minuets leading up to it. The air is crisp and chilly, friends and family are all gathered together to celebrate another year of being alive, and the excitement is palpable in the air.  Every heart is full of hope and possibility for the new year. Everyone gets a second chance on New Years. Amongst the promises to make it to the gym this year or work on your shopping addiction (um, guilty!) there is also the very real feeling that you can accomplish anything. I love the new year for this reason. I love the feeling of newness and thankfulness, the feeling of togetherness with my family and friends.
